SMIU AQEC organized a workshop on “Benefits of Implementing ISO Standards in Higher Education” on Friday, June 14, 2019 at Quaid-e-Azam Conference Hall, Talpur House. The resource person of this session was Engr. Muhammad Moinuddin Ali Khan, Head of Supply Chain and Logistics & Deputy Director QEC at Institute of Business Management (IoBM) Karachi. The session was very informative and the speaker emphasized on the benefits of implementing ISO 21001:2018 standards and management system in higher education institutions and describe the processes, requirements, and principles in detail. The session was attended by the faculty, staff members of QEC, ORIC and IT departments. After the session Dr. Saima Baig, Director AQEC presented souvenir to the guest speaker and group photograph of the attendants was taken.
